From April 23 to 26, Liu Liqiang, Deputy Director of the Safety Production Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and his team conducted research and guidance on ship safety production in our region. Liu Liqiang and his team successively visited key enterprises and project sites such as Guiping Hongxin Shipbuilding Repair Co., Ltd., Guiping (Xijiang) Shipbuilding Repair Industrial Park, Guangxi Xijiang Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., China Shipbuilding Guangxi Company (Qinzhou Base), and Beihai Xinyi Ship Repair Co., Ltd., to gain a detailed understanding of the current safety management of ship manufacturing sites, the certification status of operating personnel, the regulations for hidden danger investigation management, and the standards for determining hidden dangers. They fully affirmed the work of standardizing ship safety construction in our region and provided guidance on the investigation and handling of safety production hidden dangers.

During the research, Liu Liqiang emphasized that ship manufacturing enterprises must continuously strengthen safety production awareness, strictly manage safety hazards related to confined space operations, high-altitude operations, hot work, special equipment, fire protection facilities, and hazardous chemical management, and adhere to preventing and resolving major safety risks from the source, truly solving problems at the budding stage and before disasters occur. At the same time, relevant local departments and units should also urge enterprises to promptly rectify the hidden dangers discovered during inspections, resolutely preventing the phenomenon of not rectifying discovered problems and inadequate or incomplete rectifications, ensuring the safety production of ship manufacturing enterprises and promoting the sustainable development of the ship manufacturing industry.
