In recent years, our city has implemented a series of measures to promote party building alongside youth organization building, leading the vast number of youth members to contribute their youthful strength to the high-quality development of the city's economy and society, composing a passionate youth chapter in the magnificent Guangxi Guigang of the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. In the past five years, 9 of our city's youth have been awarded national honors such as "Outstanding Youth League Cadre," "Youth Position Expert," and "Youth May Fourth Medal," while 110 have received honors at the autonomous region level; 2 youth organizations have been awarded national honors such as "May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Committee" and "May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Branch (General Branch)," and 41 have received honors at the autonomous region level.

Ideological guidance strengthens youth ideals and beliefs.

"General Secretary Xi Jinping said, 'In life, one must rely on oneself; every small step contributes to the vast landscape.' As young people, we must actively take on the responsibilities of the times, strengthen our ideals and beliefs, work diligently, stay grounded, seek truth and pragmatism, strive to master scientific and cultural knowledge, and actively engage in the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!" said Chen Chuanying, a student from Class 2010 of Guigang High School. On May 10, Guigang High School organized over 4,000 youth members to watch the live broadcast of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China, and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech sparked enthusiastic discussions among the students. "We must instill the red gene in the hearts of students, allowing it to be passed down through generations," said Li Wenlin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Principal of Guigang High School. Since the beginning of this year, the school has conducted 11 themed activities such as "Welcoming the 20th National Congress," "Continuing the Red Gene," and "Always Following the Party," and has solidly promoted the construction of a clean school environment to create a positive atmosphere for teaching and educating.

The municipal party committee has always attached great importance to the work of the Communist Youth League and youth, insisting on prioritizing education and talent cultivation for the party. To strengthen the ideological foundation for the city's youth to follow the party, and to ensure that more Guigang youth have the mindset of "serving the country," party organizations at all levels in the city continue to enhance youth theoretical education, unite and lead youth organizations at all levels, and organize and guide the vast youth to deeply study and implement Xi Jinping's thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party, the spirit of the autonomous region party congress, and the spirit of the sixth municipal party congress, continuously supplementing the "calcium" of spirit, solidifying the "soul" of thought, further strengthening beliefs, and closely following the party.

Where the party flag points, the youth league flag follows. The municipal youth league committee always prioritizes the ideological and political guidance of youth, regularly conducting online themed youth classes and a series of themed team day activities, effectively utilizing the roles of Guigang's "Youth Lecturer Team" and "Red Scarf Touring Team," widely promoting education on socialist core values and party history, further strengthening the youth members' ideals and beliefs of "listening to the party and following the party."

The municipal youth league committee organized the "Welcoming the 20th National Congress, Always Following the Party, Advancing on a New Journey" - 2022 Guigang Youth Knowledge Challenge and Special Competition for Strengthening the Awareness of the Chinese National Community.

In 2021, the municipal youth league committee organized and guided 165,000 youth members and 14,000 Young Pioneers to deeply carry out party history education, and organized the youth lecturer team and red scarf touring team to conduct over 500 lectures for youth across the city; organized youth members to participate in 35 online themed youth classes, with a total of 5.5 million participants.

Organizational construction safeguards the high-quality development of youth.

Since the establishment of the municipal government office youth league branch in December 2020, the party committee of the government office has always deployed and implemented party building and youth organization building together, incorporating youth organization building into the party organization's agenda, conducting annual special studies on youth work, and designating 3 young party members to concurrently serve as leaders of youth organizations. In 2021, among the 14 youth members of the government office youth league branch, 11 were recommended to become active party members through the "recommendation for party membership" process.

In recent years, our city has adhered to the work idea of party building leading youth organization building and team building, jointly issuing a series of documents on party building leading youth organization building through the organizational department, achieving the dual inclusion of youth organization building and team building in the overall assessment of party building work through institutional guarantees, and striving to promote the connection and integration of the education chain of the party, youth league, and team. In 2021, 848 youth members in the city were recommended for party membership. Our city also took the opportunity of the grassroots organization reform of the county-level youth league to establish a three-level youth representative liaison station at the city, district, and town levels, promoting the extension of youth representative liaison stations to the grassroots.

"While consolidating the coverage of traditional team organizations, we continue to expand the organizational coverage of 'two new' organizations and emerging youth groups, constantly expanding new fronts for youth league work and extending new outreach for our work," said Deng Tangjian, Secretary of the Guigang Municipal Youth League Committee. As of now, there are 301 grassroots youth league committees, 16 youth league general branches, 7,649 youth league branches, and 150,059 youth members in the city. Among them, 2,002 youth league branches have been established in 'two new organizations,' and the coverage rate of youth organizations in industrial parks, schools, public medical institutions, state-owned financial institutions, and poverty alleviation resettlement sites has reached 100%.

Our city closely combines the actual work of the Communist Youth League and youth work, actively providing various guarantees for youth organizations at all levels and youth work. In the past five years, the city has organized 62 employment and entrepreneurship service activities, 58 friendship and dating service activities, and 13 safety self-protection education activities; using the city youth joint meeting as a platform, 14 key tasks and 19 priority development measures have been implemented, promoting the effective implementation of the medium- and long-term youth development plan in Guigang; conducted 874 various themed activities for youth, established 15 communities (villages) with zero crime and zero victimization for youth, 2 social work service stations, and 3 anti-bullying service stations; established 4 national "Youth Rights Protection Posts," 5 Guangxi "Youth Rights Protection Posts," and created 22 municipal "Youth Rights Protection Posts." "Party building leading youth organization building" has borne fruitful results in the Xunyu region, safeguarding the youth work in Guigang to a new level.

In recent years, under the leadership of the party and the guidance of the Communist Youth League organization, youth members in the city have actively contributed their wisdom and talents in the main battlefield of economic construction, the grand stage of cultural development, the new field of social construction, the forefront of technological innovation, the front line of key projects, and the melting pot of grassroots practice, effectively playing the role of a main force and shock troops.

In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic suddenly struck, Qintang District People's Hospital's deputy head nurse of the respiratory department, Qin Xuefen, responded immediately to the call and rushed to aid in the epidemic prevention and control in Wuhan, Hubei, successfully completing the mission. In early November 2021, arranged by the organization, this young medical worker once again packed her bags without hesitation and went to Pingxiang City, Guangxi, for epidemic support, assisting local epidemic prevention and control for over four months, using her actions to help build a solid defense line against the epidemic.

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, thousands of young volunteers in the city have carried out volunteer service activities at stations, markets, communities, etc., with a total of over 190,000 service shifts and 1.2 million service hours; a total of 9.57 million yuan in donations has been made. The municipal youth league committee also took the lead in the city to open the "Psychological Assistance Hotline for Epidemic Prevention," providing psychological assistance to 320 individuals and conducting 45,806 online psychological group counseling sessions.

Completed a 2500 square meter greening project in Liantang Village, built a village-level cultural center, created two small parks, installed 76 solar street lights, and developed 5 scale breeding cooperatives or bases... In the past two years, the Youth League Committee of Qintang District has sent the first secretary Jian Ziyang to lead the party members and cadres of Yunbiao Village in Wuli Town, Qintang District. With the strong support of local talents and the concerted efforts of the villagers, they have fully promoted rural revitalization and achieved significant results. Since being stationed in the village, Jian Ziyang has always placed "the Party's connection with youth" in an important position, actively organizing young people to sing red songs, watch educational short films, tell model stories, and learn the spirit of documents. He has deeply carried out activities such as "Caring for Youth" and "Home Visits," and collected 3 "Youth Simulation CPPCC Proposals" from students of Wuli No. 1 Middle School and Wuli Central School, further enhancing the sense of responsibility and participation in construction among young people, and gathering the strength of youth to engage in rural revitalization. Jian Ziyang has successively received honors as an excellent Youth League cadre in Guigang City and Guangxi.

In 2021, 230 rural entrepreneurial youth, 918 returning college students, 42 Western Program volunteers, and 88 "Three Supports and One Assistance" personnel in the city responded to the call and devoted themselves to the great practice of rural revitalization, leading the majority of farmers to build their homes, develop industries, and increase income and wealth. The Municipal Youth League Committee actively built platforms for volunteer services in communities (residential areas), youth volunteer services for household waste classification, and "Wall Painting Happy Villages" volunteer services, helping the majority of youth league members to showcase the good demeanor of contemporary Guigang youth in serving the overall social situation. Since the beginning of this year, more than 10,000 young volunteers have been recruited in the city, with youth volunteers providing services for 90,100 times, participating in a total of 511,800 hours of volunteer service.

In August 2020, the Guigang Conch Tai Mi New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. project, with a total investment of 150 million yuan, officially settled in the New Materials Technology Park of Qintang District, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of cement additives and 150,000 tons of concrete additives. After the project started construction, the company fully played the role of the youth main force, promoting the integration and simultaneous development of the Youth League work and project construction, establishing the Guigang Conch Youth Commando Team, organizing mutual help and learning competitions, and comprehensively launching a wave of competition for project construction to strive for excellence and leapfrog development. The project construction accelerated and was completed and put into production in November 2021. In August 2021, the company was awarded the title of Excellent Unit for Promoting Major Projects by the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and this project also became one of the ten projects recognized in the city.

Since the beginning of this year, the Guigang Conch Youth Commando Team has continued to serve the project production work, injecting "youth vitality" into the acceleration of project construction. As of the end of March, the project has completed an output value of 37.2454 million yuan. Currently, 16 youth commando teams like the Guigang Conch Youth Commando Team are active on the front line of major project construction in the city, tackling tough tasks in "urgent, difficult, dangerous, heavy, and new" tasks, striving for excellent results.
