On November 12, the first batch of "Large-scale Equipment Renewal in Transportation" and the commencement ceremony for CCS-class inland LNG-powered vessels was held at Guangxi Hongxin Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in Guiping City.
LNG-powered vessels have advantages such as environmental protection, economic efficiency, flexible transportation, and high performance. In less than two years, Guangxi Hongxin Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has built and delivered 11 LNG-powered vessels. On that day, Hongxin Shipbuilding signed contracts for the construction of 20 LNG-powered vessels with shipowners and companies such as Guangxi Qiaotian Shipping Co., Ltd., Guangxi Hongyang Logistics Co., Ltd., and Guangxi Guigang Yihong Technology Information Co., Ltd., with a total value of over 200 million yuan. This batch of LNG-powered vessels can navigate inland A and B-level shipping areas, serving both distribution and flexible efficiency. The commencement of this first batch of projects will strongly promote the renewal of old transportation vessels in Guangxi and enhance the upgrading of vessel capacity structure.
